Little did Casey know what was in store for her this morning, when she was so excited about all the new smells and friends she encountered at the vet's office. She was so excited, in fact, that she peed a great big smelly puddle right on the office floor ... inches away from the front door. Yeah, I was real excited about that, too.She went into the vet this morning a woman and came back, well, not quite a women any more. She's been pretty low energy this evening, which for her is saying A LOT (if you've met her, you know what I'm talking about).
Nick and I are just trying to pamper her and enjoy Calm Casey while it lasts.

Casey looks so cute! That is the first picture I have seen of her. Just in case you haven't heard, Casey is going to have another 2nd cousin. Fats is joining our family as soon as we can finalize the paperwork. He is a 4 year old beagle mix that started out as a foster dog, and we decided we couldn't let him go!
It sounds like you guys are doing so great! I'm so happy for you and love you both very much.
